The event was opened by Deputy Director of the All-Russian Research Institute of Fisheries and Oceanography (VNIRO) Arsen Mirzoyan, who spoke about the history of fishing in our country, starting from ancient times; the emergence from simple observations of fisheries science and its development to the modern level.
In subsequent lectures by representatives of the fishery complex, it was clearly and clearly explained about the advantages and prospects of working in the industry, new vessels, conservation and restoration of stocks using aquaculture, as well as technologies for processing aquatic biological resources.
The final lecture on the development of the fishing industry was delivered by the head of Rosrybolovstvo, Ilya Shestakov.
The format of the meeting demonstrated the openness of the policy of Rosrybolovstvo, its desire for dialogue with society, especially with young people, who received answers to their questions.
