The meeting was attended by the heads and specialists of the Department of Control, Supervision and Fish Protection of Rosrybolovstvo, the Department of Science and Aquaculture, the territorial departments of Rosrybolovstvo, representatives of the Federal State Budgetary Institution Glavrybvod, the SSC RF "All-Russian Research Institute of Fisheries and Oceanography" (VNIRO) and their branches.
The geography of the reports covered the entire West Siberian basin. Representatives of the territorial administrations also made reports on the results of the work and the specifics of control and supervisory activities.
A significant part of the program was devoted to the scientific block. Representatives of VNIRO and its branches presented the results of relevant research, talked about the work on the study and restoration of stocks of the Noriloquian lake-river system and touched upon the prospects for the use of aquatic biological resources in the Chelyabinsk region; about large-scale work on artificial reproduction and contribution to the replenishment of valuable fish of the Ob-Irtysh basin. At the same time, a film was shown that tells about the painstaking work of the institute's fish farmers and scientists on the annual cultivation of a new generation of Siberian fish.
Also, within the framework of the event, a round table was held to discuss problematic issues in the conservation of aquatic biological resources and their habitat.
