Svobodny Avenue — 2026

Specialists of the Krasnoyarsk branch of the Scientific Research Center of the Russian Federation "All-Russian Research Institute of Fisheries and Oceanography" (VNIRO) Nikita Yablokov and Daria Zlotnik participated as members of the jury in the section "Ecology of aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems" of the XXII International Conference of Students, Postgraduates and Young Scientists "Prospect Svobodny — 2026", which was held at the Siberian Federal University.

The purpose of the conference is to involve young people in innovative activities and scientific and technical creativity, increase publication activity, and exchange experience at the regional and international levels.

The 3rd and 4th year students of natural sciences took part in the work of the section "Ecology of aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems". The research presented is undoubtedly quite relevant and has both an applied and fundamental scientific character. In particular, students of the Institute of Fundamental Biology and Biotechnology reported on studies of the biochemical composition and PUFA content of gammarus and artemia, the accumulation of microplastics by mollusks in Krasnoyarsk, studies of the structure of zoobenthos and zooplankton in various lakes of the Republics of Khakassia and Tuva, the phylogeny of Siberian anemones, and much more.

The jury came to the general opinion that the work of the 4th year students can be counted as a pre-defense of master's theses, and also recommend most of the reports to be published in the conference proceedings.

At the same time, places on the podium were allocated for public speaking skills, relevance and novelty of the presented research.
